FISHING CONDITIONS SUMMARY: PRIVATE FISHING CHARTER IN DENIA

CHARTER OPTIONS : Before departure, please choose one of our two fishing styles::

• 1- VERTICAL FISHING (More time fishing): Ideal for those looking for more chances of getting bites, usually with small to medium-sized species. This is mainly a vertical style of fishing with the boat stopped, and it is the option we recommend if you are unsure which trip style to choose.

• 2- TROLLING TRIP (Not available all year round):‍ This may include bottom trolling or offshore trolling, depending on the time of year. It is a less active style for the angler, as the rod is only in your hands when a fish bites, while the rest of the time it stays in the rod holders. It usually means fewer bites, but with the possibility of larger fish. It is a more relaxed option, with more time to enjoy the coastal scenery, but it also requires more patience and carries a higher risk of finishing the trip without catches.

• Fishing equipment and lures/bait

FISHING CAPACITY: Maximum 4 anglers + skipper. We recommend 3 for more space on board and better assistance from the skipper.

BOAT & BASE: Our boat’s name is LUNAMARINA (Marine Moon), a 6 m Merry Fisher, berthed at Club Náutico de Dénia.

• Downrigger trolling: Dentex, grouper, snapper

• Pelagic/mid-water: Little tunny, mahi mahi, mackerel, bonito

• Jacks: Bluefish, amberjack, horse mackerel

• Cephalopods: skid - calamari, cuttlefish, octopus

• Drift / Bottom fishing: Pandora fish, white sea bream, mealy razorfish, gray triggerfish, comber fishes, rainbow wrasse, etc.

IMPORTANT Catches, species and sizes cannot be guaranteed. Our job is to choose the best possible strategy based on the day’s conditions.

BOOKING & PAYMENT

• You can book on this page by selecting a date in the calendar and paying the deposit shown during the booking process.

• A booking is not confirmed until the skipper confirms it. The trip depends on sea conditions; the skipper may cancel for safety.

• If we cancel due to weather or unsafe conditions, we will offer to reschedule or refund the amount paid.

• The deposit is non-refundable if the client cancels with less than 30 days’ notice, or does not show up at the agreed time and place. The meeting point is in the LOCATION tab.

• The remaining balance is paid before boarding, in euros (€). Once the boat has departed, the activity cannot be cancelled with a refund.
